Not listed by Heenan (1991). Our plant came from a nursery in Derbyshire and we have seen similar looking plants with the same name for sale by one other nursery.

Dark brownish-red with many narrow indistinct paler lines.

Brown with bluish-grey bloom; dark red margins and midrib.

Comments:

Very similar to ‘Bronze Baby’ but slightly paler in colour and with less distinct margins.

A demure species with very narrow foliage and an excellent saturation of red foliage with pink overtones when backlit by the sun; excellent for integration into the front position of the border, or used as a foliage specimen in smaller container compositions.
